Yesterday night I arrived in Novi Sad after a long trip, plane from london to Belgrade via Podgorica…with the small inconvenience that from Podgorica the plane had to turn back and emergency land due to a fault, a bit scary!

Dragan and Lily of ArtBox kindly cam to pick me up all the way inBelgrade. ArtBox is in the outskirts of Novi Sad, and it’s a gorgeous building full of their own work. I am the only artist here, which is a bit daunting. However as Dragan and Lily both have their own practice, the residency seems a very good place to exchange ideas.

Today i will go around Novi Sad and spend sometime planning and researching my project
